Another interesting learning resource to share!
I was contributing in a seminar about ESL students learn English. After gone through the subject’s notes and textbook, I am now able to understand how to use ICT resources to help ESL students to improve their literacy skills. Suggestions of reading through story books or going library could not really help students develop comprehension because perhaps they do not feel like to read when seeing the pages. Thereby Megan Lim proposed to visit digital library instead of going to the library in the seminar. Based on Megan’s blog post, she has few links of digital libraries. The one I like the most is the International Children’s Digital Library because it provides wide ranges of books with varies languages. Therefore children from any part of the world can access this library and learn English via their mother/ first language. I just love it and had marked it as my bookmark for my future use.
